An off-duty police officer was injured during the hunt for a murder suspect after a young mum and her son were found stabbed to death.
Lincolnshire Police said the person who injured the officer "may be Daniel Boulton", who is being sought in connection with the suspected double murder.
People have been urged not to approach the "potentially dangerous" 29-year-old if they see him, but to report sightings to 999.
The bodies of the 26-year-old mother and her nine-year-old son were discovered in a home in Louth at about 8.30pm on Monday, shortly after neighbours heard a baby screaming.
An uninjured child was also found at the home, said police.

Police said the mother and son suffered multiple stab wounds, and a knife was found at the scene.
Shane Marshall, 18, and his partner Niamh Ismay, 17, who live two doors down from where the incident happened, said they heard a baby screaming at around 8pm on Monday.
Mr Marshall said: “To be honest, we’re as shocked as everybody else really – especially when it’s two doors down from our house. It’s really not a good thing to happen, especially when it’s kids.
“We saw armed police and canine units arrive. We didn’t see any action, we just heard a baby screaming.

“Police said they couldn’t tell us much but they said ‘as you can see, it’s very, very serious’.”
Miss Ismay added: “Because kids are involved it’s not nice at all.
“The police knocked on our door and told us to stay inside while we were cooking dinner.”
Stuart Jenson, who described himself as a priest, said he spent time with the boy's "distraught" grandfather on Tuesday morning.

Mr Jenson said he last saw the boy about two weeks ago and would see the mother "regularly" in the local area.
He told the Mirror: "Our local community is a close, loving and caring community, and we have all been under a great deal of stress the last year with the pandemic worries and lockdowns.
"The community will always be affected by such incidences as this. It's extremely sad.
"The people involved have help and support. It's a very, very sad day and may God be with, bless and comfort those who suffer this awful and tragic loss."

Chantelle Fenton, a local resident, handed a bouquet of flowers to a police officer to add to a memorial outside the home.
She told the BBC: "I saw the lady a few times when I walked past but I never knew her.
"It's just sad because it's happened on your own doorstep."
The force said it is not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
A police cordon remained in place as forensic officers carried out an investigation into the deaths and mourners left flowers at a memorial outside the home.
The off-duty officer was injured in Hubbard's Hills in Louth during the manhunt at about 11am on Tuesday.
It came shortly after police released a photo of Boulton and urged people not to approach him.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “We have launched a murder investigation after a woman and child were found dead at a property in Louth.

“Our officers were called to an address in High Holme Road at 8.29pm on Monday 31 May after being informed by our colleagues in the ambulance service.
“Sadly, a 26-year-old woman and her nine-year-old son, were confirmed to have died. Both victims suffered multiple stab wounds and a knife believed to have been used to inflict the injuries was recovered at the scene.
“Following this incident, which we are treating as murder, Lincolnshire Police launched an appeal to locate and arrest Daniel Boulton, aged 29, in connection with this incident.”
Lincolnshire Police’s Head of Crime, Detective Chief Superintendent Andy Cox, said: “We are urgently seeking assistance to locate and arrest Daniel Boulton.
“Please, do not approach him as he could be potentially dangerous.

“We are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident at present.
“Boulton and the victims were known to each other.
“No one else was injured at the property.
“However, another young child was located at the property and was uninjured.
“We understand there is speculation that was child was abducted.
“This was not the case and the child has been safeguarded.”
Police later said an officer was injured by a man believed to be Boulton during the manhunt on Tuesday morning.
The force said: “We are currently responding to an incident in Hubbard’s Hills, Louth, where an off-duty Lincolnshire Police officer has been injured. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
“It is believed that the individual responsible may be Daniel Boulton, who is wanted in connection with a murder in the town last night.
"Please do not approach him if you see him and instead call 999, and please avoid the Hubbard’s Hills area for the time being.”
