Danica Patrick and Aaron Rodgers nailed their ‘Napoleon Dynamite’ Halloween costumes

Although they didn’t technically dress up as a couple like they have in the past, Danica Patrick and Aaron Rodgers still looked perfect in their Halloween costumes.

This year, the retired race car driver and Green Bay Packers quarterback went as Deb and Uncle Rico, characters from Napoleon Dynamite — which has been awfully popular this NFL season for a 15-year-old film.

Their costumes looked great and gave Rodgers a chance to walk around with a football while Patrick got to wear a fanny pack, which she loved. To go with a series of photos of them on Danica’s Instagram from their Halloween festivities, she quoted the cult classic film in her caption:

“How much you wanna make a bet I can throw a football over them mountains?… Yeah… Coach woulda put me in fourth quarter, we would’ve been state champions. No doubt. No doubt in my mind.”🏈

Danica also gave a shout-out to Packers right tackle Bryan Bulaga and his wife Abbie, who dressed up as her and Rodgers, and to tight end Jimmy Graham and assistant athletic trainer Nate Weir, the costume contest-winning pair that went as Aaron Judge and Jose Altuve, a reference to the iconic photos from 2017.

Last year, Rodgers and Patrick fabulously dressed up as the couple from The Princess Bride, but their look this year was pretty good too.

And just because, here’s the Uncle Rico scene from Napoleon Dynamite that Danica’s caption is referencing.
