"Who would you be if you were real royalty: William or Harry?" I asked Dani Valle. He laughed, without missing a beat. "Harry. For sure... He is free from all those obligations."
That's the essence of Valle, one of Mexico's most successful content creators. He's comfortable enough to own the spotlight but still dreams of peace and quiet away from it. "I'm the type of person who, the more time you leave me at home, the better I function," he said. "I can't be everywhere all the time. I'm not into the red carpets and the parties. That's just not me."
And yet, this self-described "introverted extrovert" has built one of the most recognizable brands in Spanish-language digital entertainment. With around 20 million followers across platforms, a hit podcast, and a recent win on MasterChef Celebrity Generaciones, Valle has become a cultural mirror for a generation that spends more time at work than anywhere else, and laughs to keep from crying.
From Photography Student to Viral Skits
Valle didn't start with TikTok in mind. Born and raised in Guadalajara, he studied Visual Arts at the University of Guadalajara, initially carving out a career as a photographer. That background explains his eye for framing and detail in his videos, which often transform the smallest workplace frustrations into moments of collective catharsis.
His now-iconic "office kits," sketches that dramatize everything from endless Zoom calls to co-worker romances gone wrong, weren't an accident. "The key is that they're shareable," Valle explained. "People tag their friends and say, 'This is us.' I realized there was a goldmine in turning everyday work emotions into content. Breakups, stress, even falling in love. Most of it happens at work."
One of the myths about being a content creator, Valle says, is that it's easy. "In this business you never really disconnect. You're always thinking about what's next, what people are saying about you, what content you'll create," he told me.
Unlike a traditional nine-to-five, social media doesn't have an off switch. Valle admits it can be overwhelming. "If it weren't for the creative part, I don't think I could do it. There's always another project, another interview, another deadline. Some people love being at every event, every red carpet. I'd rather be home, working quietly".
Seres Cromáticos: A Podcast About Every Shade of Being Human
In 2022, Valle launched Seres Cromáticos ("Chromatic Beings"), a podcast that now spans three seasons and has hosted musicians, actors, and influencers. The title, he explained, comes from the color wheel he once studied in design. "I want my guests to show me all the tones of their life. Not just the bright ones. The dark ones too. That's where the big lessons are".
The set itself is bathed in warm, happy colors, designed to make people open up. "It's not an interview where I interrogate you. It feels like a conversation among friends. We laugh, we cry, we talk about everything. And that's when people reveal things they've never said before".
The MasterChef Surprise
In 2025, Valle shocked even himself by winning MasterChef Celebrity Generaciones. He went in with zero expectations. "I thought I wasn't going to last long because I didn't know how to cook," he admitted later. "But with passion, time, and effort, I learned. It became about proving to myself I was enough."
After his win, he recorded a message to his younger self. "All my life I've been my worst enemy. Winning was like telling little Dani, the one full of doubts and fears, 'You are enough. You can do this.'"
There's an ongoing debate about whether digital creators can make the leap to television. Valle doesn't see a conflict. "TV and social media can coexist. They need each other," he insisted. "On MasterChef we learned from the TV professionals, and they also learned from us. Everyone wants to diversify, and right now, to grow in media, you need both worlds."
It's why Valle isn't afraid to dream beyond the phone camera. Still, he keeps his setup refreshingly simple: "I don't even have lights. I use natural light from my living room. Grab whatever phone you have, even if it's five years old, and just start recording. You don't need the big production to connect with people."
Inspirations, Obsessions, and the Future
When asked about creators he admires, Valle immediately mentioned American YouTuber and actress Liza Koshy. "I loved her physical comedy. I used to watch her videos all the time. I took little bits of inspiration from her. And I admire how she transformed her career from YouTube to the red carpet, even the Met Gala."
Right now, his latest obsession is Taylor Swift. "We're all waiting for the new album," he grinned during our chat, refreshing Twitter like the rest of us.
And as for what's next? Valle hints at expanding his cooking content post-MasterChef, maybe even hosting a digital cooking competition for creators. But whatever the format, it will carry his signature mix of humor and vulnerability.
There's something magnetic about the way Valle blends humor with depth. One moment he's parodying office gossip, the next he's talking about healing childhood wounds. It's that range, all the colors of the wheel, that makes him stand out.
"I think of myself as a chromatic being too," he said with a smile. "Life isn't just the pretty colors. It's all of them together."
As for the Red Carpets, Dani Valle will face a beautiful one on September 25th in Panama, at the Premios Juventud Gala, where he has been nominated in the category of "Mejor LOL", and making us LOL he does! Congratulations.
