Dani Dyer 'ready for hate' over twins' names after backlash over son's name

Dani Dyer has revealed she is "prepared" for "negative opinions" on the names she's chosen for her twin daughters.

The Love Island star, 26, announced she and her footballer beau Jarrod Bowen, also 26, are expecting twins earlier this year. She shared the happy news in January as she posted a photo of her son Santi holding a board with two ultrasound scan images and the words "I'm going to be a big brother to twins" written on top.

She is also a proud mum to son Santiago, who she shares with ex-boyfriend Sammy Kimmence. Following her first son's birth in 2021, Dani was forced to hit back at people who urged her to change the tot's moniker.

In her current pregnancy Dani, who recently revealed the gender of her identical twins in a sweet unveiling, has been keeping fans up to date as she regularly posts on her Instagram, sharing her daily life and pregnancy journey so far.

The daughter of former EastEnders star Danny Dyer took part in a question and answer session with fans on her Instagram story on Wednesday.

During the candid Q&A, Dani revealed she is prepared for the critics this time around when she unveils the names she's chosen for the identical twins.

She was quizzed on her choice of baby names for both tots and she admitted she had struggled coming up with two monikers.

When asked if she has a theme for her daughter's names and if they would be unique or traditional, Dani revealed: "I think we have decided both names...

"Jarrod always wanted one of the names so that was settled for twin 1...

"However, twin 2 I was struggling as I always wanted a certain name but kept thinking would it work (it's not the most common name) but I'm going to go for it as I think I'd really regret not choosing the name I always loved deep down," followed by a heart emoji.

Dani revealed she is aware some people may not like the name she picked for one of her twins as she added: "People really have negative opinions on baby names I had that a lot with santi so I'm prepared for that again," she wrote alongside a laughing face emoji.

Elsewhere in the Q&A, Dani revealed she is yet to finish buying bits of her unborn twins and admitted she has "zero organisation".

When asked if she had the nursery ready for her new arrivals yet, Dani revealed: "Literally have 0 organisation at the moment...

Although Dani is yet to have made any baby purchases, she revealed she has started planning as she wrote: "I've started writing a list but as im not sure how small/big they will be don't want to overbuy too much on clothing.. [sic]

"but I need a lot of stuff for sure," she confessed alongside a laughing face emoji before adding: "Once I do nursery I will share with you all".

During the same question and answer session, Dani was asked by a fan if she was nervous about going from a mum-of-one to a mum-of-three.

She admitted: "Oh yesss!!!! Pray for me please," she asked alongside a laughing face emoji and two praying emojis.
