Danni Dyer is said to have turned to footballer Jarrod Bowen as a ‘shoulder to cry on’ following the collapse of her relationship with jailed criminal Sammy Kimmence.
Rumours emerged this week that 25-year-old Dani could be dating the 24-year-old West Ham player after he was spotted leaving her Essex home.
Back in July, Dani saw her life tip upside down when her then-boyfriend Sammy, 25, was sentenced to three and a half years in jail after he plead guilty to fraud charges after scamming OAPs out of £34,000 which he then used to fund his own glamorous lifestyle.
Dani and Sammy had welcomed a son named Santiago in January – but the reality star dumped her baby’s father after he was sentenced to jail.
Now OK! magazine reports that Dani is finding comfort in the arms of Jarrod who, the report says, already knew the Dyer family.
A source said: “He's been her shoulder to cry on. He knows her family so they've very comfortably slotted into each other's lives but it's nothing serious right now.
“That's not to say it won't go that way but she's not obsessing about the future, she's going with the flow.”
The source went on to suggest Dani is very much a serial monogamist and doesn’t enjoy life as a singleton.
They claimed: “Dani doesn't like being single. She's always loved having someone she can cuddle and have affection with.
“That's what he's offered her. He's been a great source of support.”
Dani has reportedly struggled to adjust to life as a single mother since Sammy was thrown behind bars earlier this year.
Reports in August said the former Love Island contestant was leaning heavily on her 44-year-old soap star father, Danny Dyer, for support.
A family source said at the time: “Dani’s split from Sammy has been tough on everyone. It’s emotionally draining.
“Dani is so close to her dad and he’s been a real shoulder to cry on. He’s been her strength and really helped her pull through everything.”
The source said: “Dani never pictured her life as a single mum but she knew she had to move on and put her son first.
“She’s lucky she has such a tight-knit family around her. Getting away somewhere hot was such a well-needed break for them all.”
Dani and Sammy had dated before she went on to star on Love Island in 2019 – where she matched with Jack Finchim and won the show.
Dani and Jack dated for several months before the split and she reunited with Sammy.
The reality star is reportedly refusing to take her young son to see his father – who is not expected to be released from jail before 2024.
A source said last month: "Dani isn’t punishing him still further by not visiting him because she knows he’s got a right to see his son - even if he is banged up.
“But prison is such a scary place and she really can’t bring herself to think about talking Santi into such a toxic environment or allowing someone else to take her child to jail on a visit."
