Dani Dyer confirms Strictly Come Dancing comeback for 2026 series

  • Dani Dyer is confirmed to return to Strictly Come Dancing in September 2026, having previously been forced to pull out from last year’s series.
  • She is the second contestant announced for the upcoming season.
  • Dyer announced the news in a video on the Strictly Instagram page, saying: “I’m so excited to say that I’m going to be back in the ballroom this September. I just cannot wait to get my dancing shoes back on and hopefully this time around I can actually make it to week one. I’m just over the moon and cannot wait to see everyone else that’s on it. See you soon Strictly!”
  • Her return has been celebrated by the likes of reigning champion Carlos Gu and Dianne Buswell.
  • Judge Shirley Ballas also welcomed her back to the competition.
