Dani Dyer calls baby son 'perfect' as she wonders whether he will keep his blue eyes

Dani Dyer is completely smitten with her newborn baby as she continues to show him off on social media.

The Love Island winner, 24, welcomed her first child - a baby boy named Santiago - with boyfriend Sammy Kimmence in January this year.

And since welcoming her precious bundle of joy, Dani is now wondering whether or not Santi will keep his blue eye colour.

Taking to social media, the new mum shared a sweet snap of the tot as she called him "perfect".

"He really is my perfect little handsome boy," she wrote.

Dani then mused: "Wonder if he will keep the blue eyes x."

Dani has recently opened up about the challenges she's faced as a mum after welcoming baby Santi.

Speaking on Sorted with the Dyers, the podcast she hosts with EastEnders star dad Danny Dyer, she told that she began to worry after "not feeling herself" for a couple of days.

Danny said of lockdown: "This has been a f***ing long, cold, hard winter this one. And even if you're the strongest cat out there then you're struggling now."

Dani chimed in: "It's been awful. The other day I was really struggling, I had a couple of days where I made a shepherd's pie but I just felt so down.

"And I think when you've just had a baby you really start worrying, thinking, 'Am I suffering with a bit of postnatal depression?'"

"I know this sounds weird but I made the shepherd's pie but it was like I wasn't making it," she added.

"I had a couple of days of just really not feeling me and then I went on a walk and I felt back to myself. I felt so low."

Dani recently admitted that she wants to wait 'a good few years' before welcoming another baby.

Responding to one curious fan about her plans for more children, Dani explained that she wanted to focus on just baby Santiago for now.

When asked about another baby sometime soon, she replied: "Omg no. I want to wait a good few years before we have another baby.. Want to enjoy our time together as a 3."
