Dani Ceballos has made quite the impression on Arsenal fans already this season during his loan spell from Real Madrid.
The Spanish midfielder has become a favourite among supporters thanks to his all-action displays for the Gunners, with the 23-year-old featuring in 12 games in all competitions for Unai Emery's men.
Ceballos has scored one goal in his 12 appearances for the Gunners, with the Spaniard netting his first goal for the club during the recent 1-0 win against Standard Liege in the Europa League.
However, it seems that the midfielder is yet to convince his manager that he should sign him permanently next summer when his season-long loan ends.
Many Arsenal fans would love to see Ceballos become a Gunner on a permanent basis, and according to El Desmarque , the north Londoners are interested in signing the 23-year-old at around €30million.
But Emery has poured cold water over talk of a permanent deal for the Real Madrid man, for now.
At his pre-match press conference ahead of Arsenal's Europa League clash with Vitoria SC tomorrow (Thursday), Emery was asked about a possible permanent transfer for Ceballos.
But Emery did not offer a direct answer, instead replying in Spanish that it was "very soon" to be asking about signing the midfielder on a permanent deal.
Reports in Spain suggest Real Madrid president Florentino Perez remains reluctant to let the midfielder leave the Bernabeu, but with limited playing time under Zinedine Zidane, he does not appear to have much of a future in the Spanish capital.
