Dani Ceballos slams critics who 'don't trust' Gareth Bale amid Real Madrid exit links

Dani Ceballos has told those who "don't trust" Gareth Bale to watch how he performed for Real Madrid in the 2018 Champions League Final.

The Welshman came off the bench to hit a brace, including a sensational bicycle kick, to help Los Blancos see off Liverpool.

But despite those heroics Bale endures a difficult relationship with the Madrid fans and some of his team-mates.

He has frequently been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu during his seven years in Spain but has stayed put.

And Ceballos, who spent the last year on loan at Arsenal, admits the Premier League would be a good move for Bale but has underlined his value in Madrid.

"It is a league that would be quite good for him, but he is a fundamental player for Madrid," Ceballos told  Deportes Cuatro .

"Let us not forget everything he has given the club. Whoever does not trust him, put on the Champions League final.

"He has given enough to the club."

Bale has been linked with a host of Premier League sides, the latest of which is Newcastle who could soon be well backed should their takeover go through.

Ceballos though has no intention of returning to England following his spell at the Emirates.

He requested that no purchase clause was inserted into his loan deal as he is determined to establish himself at Madrid.

"I am happy and I have a contract with Real Madrid," Ceballos added.

"I am 23 years old, I have not passed the rice. Now I feel much more a player and I am prepared for any challenge that comes my way."

The Spaniard scored once in 24 outings for the Gunners.
