New Arsenal midfielder Dani Ceballos has taken to social media to send a message to Gunners' fans after impressing during his first appearance at the Emirates Stadium.
The 23-year-old signed a season long loan deal from Spanish giants Real Madrid during the summer, and was selected in the starting lineup for the first home game of the season by manager Unai Emery.
Ceballos paid back his new boss' faith by putting in a man of the match performance, providing assists for both of the Gunners' goals in a 2-1 victory over Burnley.
The Spain U21 international's performance made an instant impression on Arsenal fans , and earned him comparisons to former Gunners' midfielder Cesc Fabregas.
But Ceballos wasn't the only one receiving praise after the victory, the player himself has praised the 'spectacular' Arsenal fans for their welcome and support since his arrival.
"The team worked perfectly in this tough match, he wrote on his Instagram page. "I am very proud of my teammates! And most of all, Arsenal fans were spectacular.
"I have felt their support and love since the first ball contact. I dedicate this first MVP of the match to them! 3 more points! Now we have to keep up working! Let's go!"
The midfielder will have the chance to impress again as Arsenal aim to keep up their 100% Premier League record next week when they travel to Anfield to take on European Champions Liverpool in what will arguably be one of their toughest tests of the season.
