Dani Ceballos sends message to Arsenal fans after Granit Xhaka reaction and Unai Emery criticism

Arsenal midfielder has sent a message to Arsenal fans calling on them to stick with the team following the 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon.

The gunners raced into a 2-0 lead within the first 10 minutes of the match against the Eagles, thanks to goals from Sokratis and David Luiz.

However, Palace halved the deficit before the break when VAR overruled the referee's decision to book Wilfried Zaha for diving, and give midfielder Luka Milivojevic the chance to score from the spot. It was a chance that he didn't turn down.

The Eagles completed the comeback in the second half when Jordan Ayew found a way past Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno.

Arsenal thought that they had gone back in the lead when Sokratis wheeled away after finding the net for the second time, however, VAR stepped in to rule that there had been a foul in the buildup.

There was another talking point to the match too. When being substituted in the 61st minute, Arsenal captain Granit Xhaka reacted to jeers from his home fans, goading them and cupping his ears as he trudged towards to technical area.

The midfielder took off his shirt before heading straight down the tunnel.

His actions have led to some fans calling for him to be stripped of his captaincy, but Ceballos has taken to Twitter to encourage Arsenal fans to reunite with the players if they wish to be successful this season.

"To be united is the start; to keep united is a progress; but to work together and united, will lead us to success. Let´s go boys! Together we can make it!" He wrote.

Arsenal players and manager will have the chance to get back of the right side of fans when they take on league leaders Liverpool in the Carabao Cup Round of 16 on Wednesday evening.
