Dani Ceballos open to Real Betis move if Arsenal transfer doesn’t materialise

Dani Ceballos insists he's not "closing the door on any club", revealing a move to Real Betis is a possibility if he does not secure a permanent move to Arsenal.

The Spaniard, who is currently on loan at Arsenal, has been linked with a number of clubs, with a stay at parent club seemingly Real Madrid unlikely.

Arsenal have agreed a deal with him and Real Madrid to extend his deal until the end of the season, but where the 23-year-old’s future lies after that remains to be seen.

During an interview with Spanish radio station Cadena SER, Ceballas was asked whether a return to LaLiga, and in particular to Real Betis, would interest him?

"Betis? It's an option," he told Cadena SER. "I'm not closing the door on any club. LaLiga sounds good to me, but I'm also happy at Arsenal and I have to respect them."

"I do not rule out continuing in the Premier [League]."

"The owner of my future next year is me," Ceballos continued. "Next year I want to play and I will hardly be able to do it at Real Madrid."
