Dani Ceballos hints at Arsenal return ahead of Man United clash

Arsenal midfielder Dani Ceballos has sent a hint that he may have a part to play in his team's Premier League match against Manchester United tonight (Wednesday).

The midfielder has been out of action since injuring his thigh in the Europa League draw vs Vitoria. The injury has caused him to miss the past nine Premier League games.

Ceballos has been back in training for the last couple of weeks as he stepped up his recovery in order to make a return to first team action, but has not yet been included in a match day squad since picking up the injury.

However, the player may have given a social media hint that he could be involved for the home match against Manchester United.

The Spaniard has posted a picture on his Instagram stories looking ahead and counting down to the game.

It has led to some fans on Reddit and Twitter suggest that Ceballos could even be in line to be thrown into the starting 11 by head coach Mikel Arteta.

Before his injury, Ceballos played a part in every Premier League game registering two assists. He scored his only Arsenal goal in the 4-0 Europa League win vs Standard Liege back in October.

The 23-year-old had originally targeted a return for the Boxing Day match vs Bournemouth.
