Dani Ceballos' hilarious response to Alexandre Lacazette over Arsenal kit gaffe

Dani Ceballos has proved himself to already be a popular player among fans at the Emirates Stadium.

The midfielder has played a part in every Premier League game since completing a season long loan move to Arsenal from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window, putting in a man of the match display in his home debut against Burnley. A game which the Gunners won 2-1.

The popularity of a player usually translates to the name and squad number being added to the back of replica shirts, with fans proudly displaying the name of their favourite player during a match day.

However, one fan has made a mistake in getting Ceballos' name on the back of his shirt, as highlighted by Alexandre Lacazette's Instagram story.

The French strike has put a video of the fan with the name 'Cabellos' on his shirt, with the 'a' and 'e' included the opposite way to how the player spells his name. The caption with the image from Lacazette reads: "New player," with two laughing emojis.

The clip then pans to Ceballos, who puts his head in his hands at the spelling mistake.

The midfielder is quickly becoming a fans favourite, with many already comparing him to Arsenal legend Santi Cazorla. A cartoon of the two players was shared on social media in recent weeks, with the recent recruit wearing a crown next to the former Arsenal man.

However, Ceballos played down comparisons, insisting that he still has a way to go to reach the level of Cazorla.

"The king is still Santi Cazorla I still have a lot to learn to become like him," he wrote on his Twitter account.

Unai Emery: Arsenal showed 'character' against Liverpool

Should Ceballos carry on his impressive form, there will be a lot more shirts with his name on the back appearing, fans will have to just make sure that his name is spelt correctly.
