Dani Ceballos has already told Edu why Arsenal must resist Hector Bellerin transfer temptation

Hector Bellerin could have played his last game for Arsenal.

The full-back has been with the club since joining from Barcelona back in 2011, only leaving on a loan spell with Watford in 2013.

But he could now be on the way out of the Emirates Stadium, with French Champions Paris Saint-Germain interested in signing him this summer.

As reported by football.london, PSG along with Bayern Munich have shown an interest in the defender, with Arsenal looking to get a fee of around £35 million for the player should they decide to cash in this summer.

Will Ainsley Maitland-Niles stay at Arsenal?

Bellerin is seriously considering if his future remains at Arsenal, but should a summer transfer happen, the Gunners would be losing more than just a long serving player.

The friendship between Bellerin and Dani Ceballos was well documented during the midfielder’s loan spell at the Emirates Stadium last season. Ceballos is said to be closing in on a return to the club, and he outlined how Bellerin helped him to settle when he first arrived.

"If you ask me about Hector, I could sit here for hours and hours telling you positive things," he told Sky Sports .

"He has made my life a lot easier, not just internally, in the dressing room, but externally as well, in day-to-day life, getting to know the city and different restaurants.

“He is always accompanying me and making things easy. He has been a fundamental part of my experience here."

Bellerin is a player who makes a positive impact off the pitch aswell as on it, with both his teammates and in the wider community.

During the suspension of football, the defender promised to plant 3000 new trees for every win that Arsenal picked up between the restart and end of the season. He also helped to raise money at the start of the pandemic.

Should Bellerin complete a transfer away from Arsenal this season, the club won’t only be losing a player who has made 205 appearances, but also a player who has had just as much if not more impact off the pitch as on it.
