Dani Ceballos earns Spain call up following impressive Arsenal displays

Arsenal star Dani Ceballos has earned a call-up to the Spanish national team following the good start to his career in north London.

Ceballos has been one of the Gunners' star players so far this season, including a standout performance in the 2-1 win over Burnley, as well as an impressive dsiplay in the season-opener against Newcastle United.

The Real Madrid star, who is spending this season on loan at the Emirates Stadium, played a large role in Spain's win at the European Under-21 Championship in Italy this summer, scoring against Poland and Italy on their run to winning the title.

And now he has made the step up to the full national team for their games against Romania and the Faroe Islands in the Euro 2020 qualifiers.

The 23-year-old is joined by three players based in the Premier League, as goalkeepers David de Gea and Kepa Arrizabalaga and Manchester City midfielder Rodri have also earned a place in the squad.

Ceballos still has his first north London derby to look forward to before he can join up with the national team, however, with Spurs making the short trip to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
