Dani Ceballos admits he has no idea what Arsenal's objectives are

Dani Ceballos has admitted he's not sure what Arsenal's objectives are after signing on loan from Real Madrid.

The Spaniard has put pen to paper on a one-year loan deal in north London, and is presumably tasked with helping the Gunners get back in the Champions League.

But Ceballos has not yet spoken to his new team-mates, and is therefore unsure what is expected of him in the coming season.

Despite this the midfielder has ensured he will give 100 per cent for his new club.

"Well, I've not spoken to my team-mates yet so we're not sure of what the objective is, but obviously I'm coming here to give everything I have," said Ceballos.

"Nobody will be able to question that because from the very first day I pull this jersey on I'll give everything I've got. We'll try to achieve the club's objectives."

Unai Emery identified the Spaniard as a replacement for Aaron Ramsey, who recently left on a free to sign for Juventus.

Ceballos has been handed the number eight shirt, which used to belong to Ramsey.

Emery said: "We're excited to see Dani join us. He is a talented player with big technical ability, creativity and precision."
