Dani Carvajal reveals details of Real Madrid and Barcelona WhatsApp groups

Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal says his club's WhatsApp group is "more cautious" than the one at Barcelona , which hit the headlines after Gerard Pique revealed just what the Catalan club's stars get up to in theirs.

Speaking on Spanish TV last month, Pique said Barca's players sometimes invite Real Madrid-supporting journalists into their group only to poke fun at them.

"We invite some people, like Tomas Roncero or Alfredo Duro," Pique revealed, via Marca .

"We troll them and then remove them again. I don't know if they realise it's really us, but I think so.

"But I'll tell them it's really us and you can participate. There are some times when we keep them in the group for longer and they still don't say anything."

Carvajal, though, says the same isn't true at Madrid.

"No, at Madrid we're more cautious," he told Marca .

"The administrator is Sergio [Ramos] and we're a group of friends. Some videos are sent but we try to just have a sense of humour.

"It's called 'First Team 2018-2019'."

Real face a trip to Leganes in La Liga this evening.
