Dani Alves 'wants Premier League transfer' as he stalls PSG contract talks

Dani Alves has reportedly stalled contract talks with Paris Saint-Germain as his representatives look to secure him a move to the Premier League.

According to Brazilian news outlet UOL Esporte , the full-back has frustrated the French club by delaying his decision on whether to sign a contract renewal.

The former Barcelona and Juventus star has played for some of the world's top clubs but is yet to test himself in the Premier League.

And having received interest from Manchester United , Chelsea and Manchester City in the past, his representatives are now seeing if they can find him a club in England.

Antoine Griezmann's Barcelona transfer 'imminent' despite two key doubts

The 36-year-old is out of contract in June and is said to be looking for a two-year deal as his career draws to a close.

He reportedly reckons the Premier League will offer him more stability than PSG and is desperate to make the move.

Alves responded to questions about his future when interviewed by Spanish TV as he attended the Spanish Grand Prix in Catalunya last weekend.

"For the time being, I have not made a decision for my future, the only clue I can give is that I have a lot of options," Alves said.

Mauro Icardi issues transfer update amid speculation over summer move

"It's not something I like to think about. Until the end of June I am with PSG and until then I will give me 200% to the club.

"If I stay, I will continue to do my best. If I do not stay, I will continue to do my best elsewhere , but still be grateful for the opportunities I had."

The 107 cap Brazil international is still considered one of the top right backs in world football.

He was named to the FIFA FIFPro World XI for the eighth time in 2018 and holds the joint-record with Paolo Maldini four UEFA Super Cup titles.
