Dani Alves launches social media plea to find new club amid Arsenal and Man City links

Dani Alves has taken to Instagram in the attempt to find a new club.

Alves, 36, is a free agent this summer after leaving PSG at the expiration of his contract.

The Brazilian led his country to Copa America glory this summer but that has, as yet, failed to earn him a deal at a new club.

Arsenal , Tottenham and Manchester City have all been linked while Alves reportedly offered himself to former club Barcelona - only to be told he would not be in their plans.

And with just weeks to go in the transfer window, Alves has taken measures into his own hands.

The right-back took to social media to ask what he needed to do to find a new club.

"Looking for a job, where do I put my CV? Someone let me know if you have time to read it," he posted.

Alves' plea comes after Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola hinted at a reunion with the player at the Etihad.

The pair worked together during Guardiola's tenure at Barcelona, helping the club achieve European domination.

“All the important clubs in the world know his situation and the incredible player he is," Guardiola said when asked about Alves

“He’s an extraordinary person too but now we have two incredible full backs.”

Manchester City have Kyle Walker as their first-choice right-back although Guardiola could move for Alves if he lets countryman Danilo depart.

City have also been tipped to make a move for Portugal and Juventus defender Joao Cancelo.
