A dangerous driver stopped his car facing the wrong direction on the M77.
Ryan Dainert drove his car at excessive speeds between the M77 and Kilmarnock’s Armour Street car park.
The 20-year-old, of MacKendrick Place, Kilmarnock swerved between lanes and drove with the rubber stripped from one of the rear tyres.
Dainert pled guilty just as the case was due to go to trial. He admitted driving a car dangerously at excessive speeds, causing the vehicle to come to a stop on the motorway facing the wrong direction, failing to maintain proper lane discipline, driving in an erratic manner and driving the vehicle in a dangerous condition.
Sheriff Michael Hanlon banned Dainert for 18 months and ordered him to do 135 hours of unpaid work.
