A dangerous Dublin criminal is understood to have "battered" his brother after he flipped a car on its roof in a horror crash.
The drug thug is well-known to Gardai and has more than 40 previous convictions including assault and drug dealing.
And the notorious criminal, who is in his 30s, showed familiar shades of his angry side - lashing out at his family member in the street following the terrifying two car collision.
He is said to have lost it when he saw the car on its roof and spotted his brother - who has no criminal convictions - standing beside it.
The criminal feared that one of his relations had been in the car at the time and was seriously injured or killed during the crash.
He allegedly shouted "what's in the car?" to his bro numerous times at the scene before punching him repeatedly.
A source told Dublin Live: "The alleged driver of the car is a brother of the big-time Dublin criminal.
"The driver got out of his car and seemed to be under the influence.
"The criminal started battering his brother on the road and was shouting at him 'what's in the car?'."
The source added: "He feared that someone might have been lying dead inside."
A Garda spokesman told Dublin Live: "Two cars were involved in a crash on Fassaugh Avenue, Cabra at around 11:30am.
"A man was treated for his injuries at the scene and investigations are ongoing."
