A dangerous driver put many lives at risk after carelessly ramming a car into a petrol pump on a Dublin road while under influence of illegal drugs.
Gardai attached to the Dublin Metropolitan Region RPU were alerted of the incident and immediately rushed to the scene of the crash on the N11.
The negligent motorist was arrested after they tested positive for cocaine and benzodiazepines.
Speaking about the incident, the garda Twitter page said: "Gardaí attached to the Dublin Metropolitan Region RPU attended an incident on the N11 last week when a driver collided with a petrol pump.
"The driver was arrested when it transpired they were driving under the influence of drugs."
