Drivers have been caught speeding near a creche and schools in Co Kildare.
Gardai in Naas had received complaints about speeding motorists in Athgarvan, a village close to Newbridge.
The speeding location was close to a creche, a montessori school and on the way to Athgarvan National School.
Gardai told Kildare Now that a 'large number' of motorists were found to be on the roadway, a 50kmh zone.
Officers used TruCAM II laser guns which can detect the speed of vehichles up to 1km away, long before the driver may spot gardai.
Individual readings at the location included 84km/hr 80km/hr and 75 km/hr.
All motorists will get three penalty points and a fine for €80.
Gardai have urged people to slow down and drive within the speed limits which will reduce crashes and save lives.

More than 2,500 gardai will be deployed across checkpoints and arterial routes across the country on Wednesday.
Much of the focus will be in Dublin amid fears that anti-lockdown activists will seek to use the public holiday to demonstrate against coronavirus restrictions.
Gardai will be patrolling roads through today and people will be asked for the reason for their journey to establish whether is it essential.
More than 2,100 fines have been issued to people for organising or attending a house party.
Despite constant warnings about public health advice, gardai say they are still finding people gathering in large groups at social occasions and at house parties.
