A dangerous driver was caught when he zoomed past two off-duty police specials.
As he crossed on to the wrong side of the road at speed and narrowly missed a head-on collision with another car, he was unaware he was being filmed by the the PCSOs.
They were off duty but caught him on their dash-cam accelerating recklessly in a residential area, and missing crashing into an innocent driver by inches.
The terrifying footage was tweeted by GMP after the driver was disqualified from driving.
GMP Specials tweeted: "Result; Ronnie Denham, 29, Bolton, - pleaded guilty on 9/7/19 to dangerous driving on 14/11/18.
"Disqualified fro 1 year, sit an extended test, curfew 9pm to 7am for 8 weeks plus pay £85 costs.
"Off duty @GMPSpecials witnessed this. youneverknowwhoisbehindyou."
