Glam judge Loraine Barry has tipped Aidan Fogarty to take the Dancing With The Stars glitterball trophy this year - despite some harsh comments about his performance last week.
Meanwhile, the bookies have shortened the odds for the Kilkenny hurler and Fair City’s Ryan Andrews to take over the lead from current favourite Lottie Ryan.
Speaking after the show on Sunday, Loraine told the Irish Daily Mirror: “I think I’ve said it now since the show started, I am very impressed with Aidan.
“That is who I am very impressed with and that is with me being a ballroom dancer, to be able to out up a frame and to me to be able to put up a good frame is excellent and the movement that he has in the ballroom dances.
“Now obviously tonight wasn’t my favourite.
“I would like to see it (him going to the final) because he is a hurling player and I really do enjoy his dancing, I do.”
In the bookies, Ryan Andrews is now just 6/4 second favourite to go all the way, while Aidan Fogarty’s odds were slashed to 10/3 from 5/1.
Lottie Ryan remains at the head of the market but only by a slight margin at odds of 11/8.
Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: “At one stage it looked like Lottie Ryan would run away with the competition but after the weekend Ryan Andrews and Aidan Fogarty are looking like big threats.”
