Dancing with the Stars judge Loraine Barry 'grateful' to find love in her later years

Loraine Barry has revealed she feels "grateful" to have found love in her later years.

The popular Dancing With The Stars judge has been in a relationship with her partner Peter for five years, following two marriages to fellow professional dancers.

Her first marriage to professional partner Andrew Sinkinson ended in 1993 while her second marriage to dancer Luca Baricchi ended in 2010, RSVP Live reports.

But now Loraine is happily loved up with her partner Peter, who works in finance, and says the fact that he is in no way involved in the world of dance is breath of fresh air.

"It's a lovely balance and I'm very grateful that I found that in my later years," Loraine said of their romance in the RTE Guide.

Loraine's life is very much devoted to dance thanks to her incredible career, but it doesn't play a huge role in her relationship with Peter.

The professional dancer admitted that she tried to teach him a few moves, but actually found it to be quite "boring."

She said: "The competitiveness of my world can be very intense. I've been there and I've had that with my previous relationships and marriages."

Meanwhile, Loraine recently opened up to RSVP Live about her, Brian Redmond and Julian Benson's judging technique on Dancing With The Stars , saying that she doesn't find it hard to see good dancers being sent home because it is all part of the entertainment show.

"It is our opinion and it is our score. It is equally balanced with of course the public and we want them to be involved. We want them to be part of the show," she previously told us.

"At the end of the day, they become better than the judges. They do their tweets and everything else and say 'Oh the judges are wrong' or whatever but it is their opinion.

Loraine also tipped Kilkenny hurler Aidan Fogarty to make it all the way to the final and potentially lift the glitterball trophy later this month.

She said: "I think I have said it now since the show started, I am very impressed with Aidan. I am very impressed that he is able to put up a frame and to me that is excellent.

"I would like to see [him going to the final] because he is a hurler and I really do enjoy his dancing, I do."
