Dancing on Ice winner Joe Swash's girlfriend Stacey Solomon breaks silence

Stacey Solomon has broken her silence on her boyfriend Joe Swash winning Dancing on Ice 2020.

The Loose Women panelist, 30, took to Twitter to say she was "immensely proud" of her man for taking home the trophy.

She also addressed the criticism Joe received as many expected Perri Kiely to win the series, saying "everyone deserved to win".

But it was Joe and his skating partner who came in first place , with Perri and Vanessa Bauer coming in second and Libby Clegg and her pro Mark Hanretty getting third.

Stacey tweeted: "Firstly, EVERYONE in the final tonight was AMAZING & deserved that trophy.

"Secondly, Joe we‘re all so immensely proud of you.

"To anyone who voted, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

"He put his heart & soul into DOI & has LOVED every minute. It meant the world to him. So thank you."

Stacey then took to her Instagram stories to share a picture of herself and Joe with their baby son Rex.

The couple looked jubilant as they laid down on the floor with big grins as Rex rested on Joe's lap.

She captioned the post: "Honestly can't believe it... Joe did it how did this happen?

"Seriously though... to anyone who voted, thank you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Stacey looked shocked when she learned Joe had won (ITV)

"He put his heart and soul into DOI and has worked so hard. It meant the world to him and to us.

"We are so proud of you Joe. We love you."

Stacey could be seen watching the final in the TV studio and looked shocked when Joe was announced as the winner .

Beaming with pride, she then stood up and cheered from the sidelines.
