Rebekah Vardy made her debut on ITV hit skating show Dancing On Ice on Sunday's launch night.
The 38-year-old stunned both the judges and viewers at her home with her dazzling performance with professional ice skater Andy Buchanan, later being treated to a video call with her husband and their five children.
But when host Holly Willoughby, 39, spoke to the contestant’s husband, pro footballer Jamie Vardy, at home, he couldn’t seem to muster much enthusiasm, reports Daily Star.
When Holly told Jamie that he must be so proud of his wife, he said: "Absolutely over the moon for her.
"She's put a lot of work into it every day, watching videos and stuff at home, which gets annoying sometimes but, nah that's just the dedication that she's put in."
But his blank expression was quickly picked up at home by viewers, with many taking to Twitter to comment on it.
One said: "What a miserable git Jamie Vardy was."
Another joked: "Jamie Vardy couldn’t have shown more support and enthusiasm if he tried."
A third wrote the sarcastic response: "Jamie Vardy going OTT with the support and enthusiasm there #DancingOnIce."
Others wondered if he had any idea that the video call was going ahead before it happened.
"Did Jamie Vardy know they were going to him...zero joy there !! #DancingOnIce?", said another.
And a fifth added: "Jamie Vardy definitely didn’t watch that dance he’s watching the football in the other room and popped in to be on TV."
