Dancing on Ice viewers hit out at Holly Willoughby for ‘inappropriate’ plunging dress

Holly Willoughby’s dress was branded “inappropriate” for a “family show” by unimpressed Dancing on Ice viewers.

The This Morning presenter was faced with a wave of backlash after she presented Sunday night's live show in a plunging black floor-length gown, complete with sheer panels on the bodice.

The neckline caught the attention of viewers, who urged her to cover up so early in the evening.

One user wrote: “Don't really appreciate seeing Holly Willoughby's t*** hanging out of her dress tonight on Dancing on Ice .. slightly inappropriate #coverup.”

Another commented: “Does Holly really need to be showing side boob. .. lovely dress just come on kids watching (sic).”

A third added: “Someone please tell Holly Willoughby to watch she doesn't pop out of her dress lol.”

Others defended the TV presenter, brandng her "stunning," with one tweeting: “There's nothing inappropriate about Holly's dress she looks radiant that dress is stunning and if I had a figure like hers I'd be flaunting it."

Another commented: "Holly's dress is beautiful."

Viewers were also quick to pick up on Willoughby's subtle dig at Gemma Collins after she slammed Jason Gardiner in an explosive live-rant during the show.

Collins left viewers shocked after warning the Australian judge to “stop selling stories” on her.

Willoughby, who previously criticised the star over her “lack of professionalism”, couldn’t resist referencing Collins’ comments, when introducing Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton.

"Well it is time for the final skating star of the night and it's our Pussycat Doll," Willoughby said.

“Let’s get the inside story as she skates to a song from West Side Story - nobody sold that story that's for sure."

Co-host Phillip Schofield struggled to hold back laughter as he continued with the introduction.
