Dancing On Ice viewers fuming over John Barrowman's The Masked Singer 'reveal'

New singing show The Masked Singer caused utter confusion over the weekend.

Some branded it terrible , others were that baffled it had them hook, line and sinker.

And for those who were drawn in to the madness also tuned into ITV for Dancing On Ice and were fuming over one particular detail.

Some viewers are convinced that it is new DOI judge John Barrowman who is actually The Masked Singer's Unicorn.

But during the skating shows launch on Sunday night, they now believe it has been confirmed thanks to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield's questioning of the former Doctor Who actor.

Schofe started it all by saying: "If last night's show is anything to go by it seems one of our judges is leading a secret life."

Before Holly got straight to the point and asked: "Right John Barrowman I'm only going to ask you this once. Are you or are you not moonlighting as a Kate Bush loving Unicorn?"

Of course, even if it WAS John behind the mask, he shouldn't actually reveal all and ruin the next episode for viewers.

But the all singing-all dancing star did look a little guilty and his next line sealed it for fans.

Addressing his possible double ITV stint further, Holly asked that if it was him, could she borrow the outfit to which he replied: "You'd have to rip it out of my closet if I had it."

Leaving Phillip adamant enough to exclaim: "It is you."

Obviously, viewers were not impressed.

"Wtf John, you're not supposed to actually out yourself as Unicorn yet! #DancingOnIce #DOI," tweeted one.

A second said: "Imagine #DOI literally giving away that it def is John on @MaskedSingerUK #MaskedSinger."

"Why are they announcing John being the unicorn surely this isn't allowed," questioned another.

During the episode of The Masked Singer - which sees celebs sing with their identity concealed behind an elaborate costume and mask as a panel try to guess who they are - there were clues given to the Unicorn's identity.

They said that they had always "stood out from the crowd", "been different", has "flair", and is "a bit of a show pony".

Has this just revealed the Unicorn's identity?

The Masked Singer continued tonight on ITV at 8.00pm. Dancing On Ice returns on Sunday at 6pm on ITV.
