Dancing on Ice viewers brand show 'disgusting' after interview

Dancing on Ice viewers were furious to see Matt Hancock interviewed on the show tonight.

After returning from an ad break, presenters Holly and Phil turned to the studio audience to gauge what they thought of the show so far. Sitting front and centre was beloved comedian Paul Chuckle but instead of chatting with him, they opted for Matt Hancock.

Fresh off his stint in the I'm A Celebrity jungle, the UK's former health secretary, Matt Hancock, was chosen to share his thoughts. He said: "Well I dance to almost anything. It's more enthusiasm than anything.

"It's so hard. Eating cockroaches is nothing compared to how hard this is."

Dancing on Ice viewers were so unhappy with the surprise appearance, they switched off entirely. One fan said: "Was looking forward to #DancingOnIce tonight but Matt Hancock? Immediate switch off."

Another added: "Thanks @ITV for making me switch off #dancingonice Matt f****** Hancock. Disgusting." A third unhappy viewer said: "We have @MattHancock in the audience! There he is in his new white shirt, jeans and spanking new white trainers, trying to look like one of the cool kids. WTF is going on? I want to switch off now!! @itvstudios."

A final added: "What are you doing?#itv Are you trying to provoke everyone? First I’m a Celebrity now #Dancingonice Matt Hancock should be nowhere near our screens. If he’s brought in as a contestant I’m done."

Mr Hancock finished in third place during I'm A Celebrity but his appearance on the show sparked similar outrage from the moment he was announced as a castmate until filming wrapped.
