After news of Dancing On Ice being cut short broke out, the hit ITV series was instantly branded "cursed" and "disastrous" by some viewers.
However stars who are competing on the hit skating show this year hit back at the claims - despite the countless obstacles bosses were forced to face this year.
Appearing on This Morning alongside their professional partners, Faye Brooks, 33, and Rebekah Vardy, 39, opened up about this year's eventful series.
Chatting to hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, Faye explained how difficult it was to have a change of partner halfway through the series after Hamish Gaman, 37, injured his finger.

Now being partnered up with Matt Evers, Faye revealed admitted that the skating competition is "the most dangerous show on television".
"We signed up for this - we know this is the most dangerous show on television," she said.
"We've got to make sure we take care of ourselves, trust our partner, and keep entertaining on the show every week."
Host Alison asked: "It's absolute carnage isn’t it?"
"It's a whole new world, literally we’ve had 11 hours together to get ready for Sunday," skater Matt said.

Switching back to the conversation about her previous skating partner Hamish, Faye added: "Well my head was spinning obviously but what’s so lovely I owe everything to Hamish.
"He taught me everything from basics to how to perform and I fell in love with ice skating."
"Things have changed and I have Matt... he knows what the judges want, but he’s a pro, we've had to work ridiculously hard in the last week," she added.
Addressing the record-breaking number of dropouts on the show, Matt defiantly said: "We are still standing. The morale here is still high we know were up against a lot this year but it’s about making the best of a bad situation that 2020 and 2021 brought. It’s a matter of keeping a smile."

Meanwhile WAG Rebekah - who is partnered up with pro skater Andy Buchanan - said being on the show is very fast-paced and "go-go-go".
What's more, the mum-of-one said she's not afraid of trying out new moves - much like her one last week which saw her being spun around by her legs.
"I loved it, I’m a bit of an adrenaline junkie and I said let’s give it a shot and he told me we have to do it from a running jump," she said.
"There’s no room for error in this. If she’s in the wrong position then it’ll go wrong, she’s going as much as I am it's 50/50," Andy added.

Rebekah then gave her take on next week's performance, saying: "Next week, it's movie week. We’ve got something I never watched, Breakfast at Tiffany’s - skating to Moon River.
"I actually had to go and watch it back as it hadn’t been something I had seen. The show has taught me to just enjoy every single moment and have so much fun.
"I can’t thank this guy so much for a teaching me to skate and b not to take myself too seriously, I take the mick out of myself," she added.
