Dancing on Ice stars leave their London hotel en route to the very first live show

The Dancing on Ice stars have been spotted leaving their London hotel as they head to the first live show of 2022.

The 14th season of the show is due to air tonight on ITV, with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby present the show that sees celebrities take to the ice in hopes of winning.

Sally Dynevor has been snapped leaving the hotel ahead of tonight's show.

She donned a simple floral blouse with strong shoulders with a denim dungaree on top, the star also wore a black face mask.

The 58-year-old Coronation Street star is set to compete in this year's series of the competition.

Ahead of the show, Sally has admitted that she's having a crisis of confidence as the new series looms ahead.

A difficult session left her unsure if she was suited to the show.

She sobbed to her pro partner Matt Evers, asking: "Can I do this?"

He told her: "You totally can. If I didn’t think so I’d say, 'girl go home.'"

It seems that his kind words did the trick, as they've since been seen laughing and relaxing ahead of the show kicking off tonight.

Speaking before tonight's show, Sally said: "This is the scariest thing I’ve ever done. I walked to Everest base camp but that was on two feet.

"I did a London to Paris charity bike ride for breast cancer and after that I vowed I wouldn’t do anything where I didn’t have two feet on the floor.

"I have both feet on the floor with this but the ice is so slippery and scary.

"I think this will be really good for my confidence. If I can skate on a live show I’ll feel I can do anything."

The latest season of Dancing on Ice will see ITV favourites Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby taking on their hosting skills of an evening.

The hosts regularly present daytime show This Morning, but have been brought in to host the dancing show also.

Holly and Phillip will continue to dedicate their Mondays through to Thursdays for This Morning, before reuniting of a weekend to offer commentary as the 12 new skaters take to the ice.

Speaking about their close bond, Holly told The Mirror and other press: "They're different shows and that's what's so nice about it. There's a real ease when we work together.

"It's not like you're going in like, oh we just need to find our feet or rhythm, it's an absolute given. It's nice to be doing something a bit different but still together."

*Dancing On Ice begins Sunday on ITV at 6.30pm.
