Dancing On Ice skater Vanessa Bauer posts Wes Nelson training video after Megan Barton Hanson feud

Dancing On Ice professional Vanessa Bauer gave fans a sneak peak of her Musical Week routine with Wes Nelson, hours after his girlfriend Megan Barton Hanson claimed she has never been invited to watch the two in training.

The professional skater shared videos of her and Nelson gliding around the rink before she got the giggles over Nelson acting “stupid”.

Bauer told the camera: “We trained the whole day and the whole routine for Week 3 is set so I'm really excited to show you guys the results, it's Musicals Week so I can't wait!”

It seemed to be business as usual in training despite Nelson’s girlfriend Barton Hanson making it more than clear she is not a fan of “disrespectful” Bauer.

Barton Hanson, 24, slammed their “romantic” Dancing On Ice routines as she admitted that it “wasn’t easy to watch” the pair performing.

She told The Sun: “Every woman will tell you it’s not ideal to have your boyfriend spending 12 hours a day with another woman – a little introduction from Vanessa would have gone a long way

“Wes is my main priority, I love him. I am so passionate about him but it is going to be difficult now. I want to back him, but I don’t want to feel awkward.”

Barton Hanson also accused Bauer of “tactics” and “hyping up interest” by revealing her split from her boyfriend just hours before Nelson’s competition debut.

However, a source close to Bauer said: "Vanessa did not ‘announce’ her split. She has never discussed her private life and as always wants to stay focused on her professional commitments."

The model also railed against the 22-year-old professional for not inviting her to watch them rehearse and "avoiding eye contact" with her during performances or meetings.

Nelson and Bauer topped the week two leaderboard last weekend with 25 points. They will perform again on Sunday during the show’s musicals extravaganza.

Dancing On Ice continues Sunday at 6pm on ITV.
