Just as Kimberley appeared on Friday's Lorraine, William Hill changed their odds to put Kimberley on 9/2 from 6/1.

Rupert Adams, Spokesperson for William Hill, said: “It had appeared that punters saw this year’s Dancing On Ice being between Brendan Cole and Regan Gascoigne, but there seems to be a changing of the tide and they are beginning to side with Kimberly Wyatt.

“The Pussycat Dolls singer has been really well supported in recent days and is now 9/2 from 6/1 for the trophy, with Rachel Stevens another who has been backed at 8/1 from 11/1.

“The market is still headed by Cole and Gascoigne at 3/1, but it’s pretty obvious punters don’t think it’s quite as clear cut as the betting suggests.”

Talking about how competitive he is going into the show, Regan said: "Oh I really want to do it.

"It’s more the fact that I’d like to stay to the end and dance as many times as possible really and get to learn as much as I can.

"I would obviously love to win it but I’m just so happy to be doing it that winning would just be like the cherry on top. I’m going to think positively, try to have the confidence I can do it and just throw myself at it."
