Dancing on Ice’s Perri Kiely will perform ‘very dangerous’ unprecedented stunt in final

Perri Kiely is set to take on a "very dangerous" move in the Dancing on Ice 2020 final that has never been done by another celebrity before.

The 24-year-old dancer - who found fame after winning Britain's Got Talent's third season with his dance group Diversity - has made it to the final with his skating partner Vanessa Bauer.

The show's producer Dan Whiston has now told Sun Online that Perri is planning to showcase a new move during his performance.

He said: "I don't want to give too much away, but Perri's working on something that's never been done by a celebrity ever, ever, ever before. He's working on something really big.

"It's very, very dangerous. If he's there in the final I'm sure he'll do his best to do it. He's working on something very special."

It comes as judge Ashley Banjo, who's part of dance group Diversity with Perri, was close to tears himself as he told of his pride at seeing Perri win this series' first perfect score of 40.

Other Diversity members were in the audience too, cheering on Perri as he took to the ice with pro partner Vanessa.

As Christopher Dean was left to round off the scoring, he told the pair: "I tried to press 11, but it wouldn't go. It's a 10!"

Perri started to well up behind his glasses, with host Holly Willoughby announcing: "Tens across the board!"

"They're standing up!" Phillip Schofield shouted over the roar of the crowd, "You've got a standing ovation!"

Holly soon turned her attention to Ashley at the far end of the judges' bench, who looked like he might shed a tear at any moment.

"I'm here," he said, "And our squad's over there. But you were out there on your own.

"Seeing you become the man you've become, I'm so proud bro."

Later he added: "Obviously, that's personal, but just as a skater, what you're achieving and pulling off in this competition is...yeah, I don't know what to say, well done, proud of you."
