Dancing on Ice's Perri Kiely 'robbed' of win as irate viewers slam result

Irate Dancing on Ice viewers have claimed contestant Perri Kiely was 'robbed' of victory on the ITV show.

After two months of competition the latest series came to an end on Sunday, with former Eastenders actor Joe Swash beating Perri and Libby Clegg in the live final.

The Dancing on Ice result shocked everyone, with the judges looking visibly shocked and many viewers also reacting with surprise to the outcome.

And some fans of the show have claimed that Diversity dancer Perri was 'robbed' of a win, having consistently been top of the leaderboard and even doing a backflip in the finale.

Many of the angry viewers are calling fix, with one tweeting: "Biggest fix I’ve ever seen, Perri and Vanessa were well and truly robbed," and another ranting: "What a joke Joe Swash the winner... Perri and Vanessa well and truly robbed, hands down the best performance ever seen on dol...will not be watching again."

A glance on Twitter shows that plenty of others share the same opinion, with another fuming fan commenting: "absolutely f*****g FUMING #DancingOnIce Perri is absolutely robbed and I’m OVER the public being given final say in the final. it’s just one huge f*****g popularity contest," and a fourth reacting: "Perri and Vanessa have been robbed he’s literally one of the best skaters I’ve ever seen on the show."

Dancing on Ice host Phillip Schofield also seemed like he predicted a Perri win, with him telling the Diversity dancer "everyone thought you had it in the bag." Gracious in defeat, Perri said Joe deserved to win.

But then, just before the credits rolled, the famous presenter turned to Joe and said "without question Joe most improved, most improved".
