Dancing on Ice's Lady Leshurr sparks 'injustice' claims from angry fans as she gets voted out

Angry Dancing on Ice viewers have called for justice for Lady Leshurr after she was sent out of the competition, despite finishing joint top of the leaderboard.

Things were most definitely looking up for the rapper as, after landing in the skate off again last weekend, she became the first skating star of the new series to earn a perfect score of 40, with the judges awarding her and partner Brendyn a full house of 10s for their 'prop week' routine to Lulu's Shout.

While not quite matching that with her second skate, a score of 37/40 was enough to see Lady Leshurr finish at the top of the standings on the same total score (77/80) as ex Coronation Street star Faye Brookes.

But, with only two couples automatically through to next week's final after the public had voted, it was the dreaded skate off again for Lady Leshurr, this time alongside Olympic hurdler Colin Jackson.

And after the panel were divided, the Dancing on Ice result was decided by this week's head judge, Christopher Dean, who went the way of his long time skating partner Jayne Torvill and saved Colin.

The outcome has been slammed by some fans who are fuming that Lady Leshurr won't be competing in the final.

Taking to Twitter as the credits rolled on Sunday's show, one ranted: "What an absolute s***show. Lady Leshurr was the best tonight in both the regular skates and the skate off, regardless of whether you were judging based on performance or skating.

"And FYI judges - you should be judging both components, not one or the other, t**ts."

Another blasted: "Gutted tonight for @LadyLeshurr she should have definitely been in the final next week she was fantastic!! What was @torvillanddean thinking!! Definitely wrong decision!" and, in agreement, a third tweeted Lady Leshurr to say: "You were robbed and underappreciated the whole time. Fact is whoever ends up winning should know they don't deserve it.

"You were a joy to watch and the show won"t be worth watching without you participating (and winning)."

Another simply reacted: "Justice for Lady Leshurr"
