Dancing On Ice's Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu unrecognisable with short hair in show makeover

Dancing On Ice 2023 star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu looked completely different on Sunday night, as she showed off a new look on the ITV series.

Ekin-Su underwent a major makeover for Musicals Week on the show, and wore a wig that was a much shorter hairdo to her normal locks.

The Love Island 2022 winner ditched her usual long brunette hairdo for a super short blonde crop, as she got into character.

Ekin-Su and her professional skating partner Brendyn Hatfield took on The Sound of Music for their routine, skating to the song Do Re Mi.

As she transformed into the musical's lead character Maria for her performance, the reality TV star certainly looked different.

Fans of the star were loving the new, taking to social media to share their thoughts with one writing: "WOW Ekin looks so different"

Another said: "Wow what a difference to the long hair - enjoy the musicals tonight," as a third fan wrote: "You look so different!"

A fourth comment read: "I didn’t recognize you for a moment," as a fifth said: "Ekin who? I didn’t recognise her."

Ekin-Su's new look comes just weeks on from her week one outfit sparking complaints, with some viewers calling it "inappropriate" for a "family show".

The show faced over 100 Ofcom complaints last week over the episode, following Ekin-Su's sexy routine and outfit.

While the star hit back at the comments and encouraged fans to be themselves, the star found herself in the first skate-off of the series.

John Fashanu became the first star to leave the series in this same skate-off a week ago.

As both celebrities and their professional skating partners, Brendyn and Alexandra Schauman, performed one more time for the panel, they all agreed that John would be going home first.

John had joked seconds earlier that he knew he hadn't done enough to stay on the show, while Ekin-Su was visibly relieved to make it through after a tough first week.

She had vowed to prove herself in the skate-off, working hard after being left "upset" over the public vote the week before.

Dancing On Ice airs Sundays at 6:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
