As the oldest woman on the rink, Denise van Outen will be flying the flag for more mature ladies.
But the 46-year-old says it won’t stop her from wearing skimpy outfits.
The TV host, actress and West End star says: “Yeah, I’m the oldest woman in the group so I’m doing it for the over-40s, and I’m like, well, I’ve got to try and look half-decent.
“If I was ever going to wear anything that skimpy, I would do it now on this kind of show.
"But, you know, give it a few more years and I’ll be a little bit more covered up and maybe slightly less daring, shall we say.”
Former Big Breakfast favourite Denise has also appeared on Strictly Come Dancing but says that doesn’t give her an unfair advantage in this competition.
She insists: “It’s completely different to Strictly.
“In terms of performance, that’s obviously what I love doing – so the top half I can do, but the bottom half I found really hard.
“You’re skating around with blades on your feet.
“I’ve never even skied in my life so when I stepped on the ice when I had my first audition, I genuinely couldn’t move.
“I just stood in the middle and had to get someone to manoeuvre me across the ice. I’ve learned from scratch.”
