Dancing On Ice's Christopher and John choked up as Lady Leshurr honours late sister

Emotional scenes on tonight's Dancing On Ice as Lady Leshurr used her routine to pay tribute to her late sister Carmen.

Each of the semi-finalists was tasked with telling emotional personal stories with their second dance of the night, Lady Leshurr and pro partner Brendyn Hatfield remembering Carmen while dancing to the music of Alicia Keys.

Carmen tragically died at just 39 in 2019 after a battle with breast cancer.

Carmen's husband had also died from cancer, meaning Lady Leshurr's mum took in their eight children.

The musician took to the ice, earning acclaim from all four judges - and a particularly heartfelt reaction from two of them.

"It was simplicity of the skate that made it so powerful," Christopher commended, "and just listening to everything that's gone on..."

Christopher excused himself, before adding: "I feel for you."

John later got choked up as well when he gave his verdict, echoing Christopher's sentiment that its simplicity and emotional impact were its greatest assets.

Unfortunately, Lady Leshurr's Dancing On Ice journey came to an end just prior to the final.

After finding herself in the skate-off with Colin Jackson, the decision came down to Jayne Torvill - who chose to save Colin.

That means Colin, Faye Brookes and Sonny Jay will battle it out next week for that coveted first place trophy.

To make it to semi-final was a huge feat for Lady Leshurr, after the first week saw her in the skate-off.

You can catch the final next weekend.

*The Dancing On Ice final will air at 6pm on Sunday on ITV.
