There is mystery surrounding Dancing on Ice after it was revealed that Caprice and her pro partner Hamish Gaman had 'parted ways'.
Hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield revealed right at the start of Sunday's live show that the pair were no longer skating together, but offered no explanation as to why, only that Hamish was "remains very much part of our professional team," before adding "we hope to have back on the ice next week."
The lack of explanation as to why the pair came to the decision to split meant that many viewers were quick to speculate what went wrong.
Someone tweeted "Guys did I miss something? What’s happened between Caprice and Hamish? Live for a bit of #DancingOnIce dramz," and another reacted "Does anyone actually know what happened with Caprice and Hamish? That was the oddest announcement ever."
There were tweets galore within seconds of the announcement, with another fan of the show commenting ""Caprice and Hamish have parted ways" is the oddest exit announcement I've ever heard. Did she quit? Was she injured? I'm so confused," and s fourth writing "missed the whole first skate scrolling through twitter trying to find out what’s happened with caprice."
At the time of writing, Dancing on Ice had yet to put out any official statement on any of their social media channels and neither had Caprice.
