Dancing on Ice result sees Rebekah Vardy go home after stumbles in skate off

There was more drama on Dancing on Ice on Sunday night when Jayne Torvill used her casting vote to send Rebekah Vardy home after she made some costly errors in the dreaded skate off.

Going into Movie Week there were just five couples left in the running for the 2021 title, after a contestant crisis which saw nine skaters leave the show in just a month.

Only four were actually voted out by the public, with another three dropping out due to injury and another two forced to quit after testing positive for coronavirus.

After a week's break, Dancing on Ice returned this weekend for a Night at the Movies and the show got off to a fantastic start when Olympian Colin Jackson scored a series high of 37.5 for his Saturday Night Fever routine, a score which was then equalled by Capital Radio host Sonny Jay for his Billy Elliot inspired skate.

Rapper Lady Leshurr found herself at the bottom on 33.5 after her Jurassic Park performance, just behind Rebekah, who was awarded 34 from the judges for channelling screen icon Audrey Hepburn in a Breakfast At Tiffany's themed skate.

Just ahead of her was Faye Brookes on 34.5, after she stumbled during a Pretty Woman routine with new partner Matt Evers.

In the end, the Skate Off mirrored the leaderboard as, after the public vote, Lady Leshurr and Rebekah found themselves in the bottom two alongside partners Brendyn and Andy.

And disaster struck for Rebekah as she stumbled a few times during her skate to Kelly Clarkson hit My Life Would Suck Without You, with her turning to Andy and saying "that was bad."

While, Lady Leshurr was also pulled up for "scrappy mistakes" in her bid for survival, the judges voted by 3 to 1 to save her.
