Mark Little became the first Dancing on Ice casualty of the series after the judges voted unanimously to save ex-cricketer Ryan Sidebottom and his partner Brandee Malto.
Little found himself in the dance-off after last week’s show after failing to impress both the judges and viewers. He went head-to-head with Sidebottom, who scored 15 points on Sunday night.
On leaving, Little said: “This a sport I’ve loved for years so to do that is extraordinary.
“I never imagined I’d do any of that. I’ve had a good time. It’s a gorgeous thing to do. It will be my new pastime.”
Little’s partner Brianne Delcourt paid tribute and said: “You’ve learned a new skill you can teach your grandchildren.”
Former Love Island contestant Wes Nelson topped this week’s leaderboard with 25 points after impressing with his routine.
He said: “It’s a complete contrast to what I was doing before and to the island. It’s a massive pleasure to be a part of it.”
Judge Christopher Dean said: “You’ve got so much potential and you’re a beautiful looking couple on the ice.”
Brian McFadden left viewers cringing after he made his debut to Westlife's Mandy despite leaving the boyband in 2004.
The remaining celebs will take to the ice for Musicals Week next Sunday night, which will see another star get the boot.
