Dancing on Ice latest: Gemma Collins told Saira Khan she should have been in the bottom two

Gemma Collins admitted to Saira Khan that she “should have been in the skate-off” after Khan’s tearful exit from Dancing On Ice.

The Loose Women panellist was dumped from the competition after losing out to Ryan Sidebottom after being heavily penalised for not letting go of partner Mark Hanretty .

Khan has now revealed that Collins said she felt she should have been in the skate-off instead after landing bottom of the leaderboard.

Khan said: “I’ve got to give credit where credit’s due, she [Gemma] came up to me last night and said, ‘I should have been in the skate-off not you’. She did say that, honestly. She knows it.

“But, look, it’s a TV show. It’s about performance and people are keeping her in. Whatever you think of her, I want to watch her on the ice. I want to know what she does next.”

The presenter teared up as she watched back her icy highlights, revealing that the show was a “childhood dream” and that she was “gutted” to have it end.

On Sunday night, fans were upset to see Khan go out of the competition while “joke” act Collins remained after her lacklustre skate .

Earlier in the evening, the TOWIE star sobbed as she claimed that her fall the previous week had made her “lose her nerves”.

Collins stumbled multiple times as she graced the ice backed to Taylor Swift's hit Look What You Made Me Do.

But she admitted her legs had been “like jelly” after she fell over on the ice the week before.

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV. Dancing On Ice continues Sunday at 6pm.
