Dancing On Ice judges jump out of their seats to comfort tearful Lisa George after crash

Dancing On Ice's panel of judges all jumped out of their seats to comfort Coronation Street actress Lisa George after she burst into tears this evening.

The soap star, who is best known for playing Beth Tinker, crashed onto the ice during her Goldilocks-inspired routine.

She still managed to get back onto her feet and received two 6.5s and two 7s this evening, giving her a score or 27.

Speaking about it afterwards to Holly and Phil, she admitted that the fall "took her by surprise".

"I don't know what happened," she said as her partner praised her for managing to get back up.

"It was perfect in rehearsals this afternoon," Phil gushed. "What a shame."

Judge John Barrowman willed her to not let it "bust her confidence".

Meanwhile Ashley Banjo said that he noticed that something was going on before the fall happened because she had been wobbly on the ice.

Lisa seemed to get tearful and began to cry, leading Ashley and John to leap out of their seats to comfort her.

They were then joined in the group hug by Chris and Phil before everyone returned to their seats.

Wiping away her tears as she tried to laugh, Lisa said that she "just wanted to do a good job".
