Dancing On Ice fans convinced it's 'painfully obvious' Perri Kiely will win show

Dancing On Ice viewers are convinced that it is "painfully obvious" that Perri Kiely will win the ITV skating show.

The Diversity star, 24, stunned fans tonight with his Jive-inspired routine with pro partner partner Vanessa Bauer.

After wowing with their skate, they scored a top score of 38 after receiving four 9.5s.

Host Holly Willoughby observed afterwards: "You are fit boy, you're totally out of breath!"

"It's so so tough," Perri gasped. "I'm sweating, my hair is everywhere!"

"It was almost a 10," judge Christopher Dean said. "Even your character is coming out more, but it could come out even more... out of all of the series that was one of the most complicated routines I've ever seen!"

Jayne Torville praised him for "totally embracing" the skate while John Barrowman gushed that it was "amazing".

He added: "If you worked on the face, smiling, it would have been a 10."

Meanwhile Ashley Banjo said: "That was stupid, from top to bottom you didn't stop moving... it was amazing."

Viewers flocked to Twitter to praise Perri, though some also complained that it was "painfully obvious" that he would win the show.

One tweeted: "Perri.... is the best by a mile .... #DancingOnice."

While another commented: "#DancingOnIce is so predictable and boring this year, really don’t understand their logic of having a professional dancer on the show."

A third remarked: "#dancingonice Perri is gonna win this series. Ashley is bound to get accused of favouritism but that was a great routine."

*Dancing On Ice airs Sundays at 6pm on ITV
