Dancing On Ice fans beg Jason Gardiner to return after judges 'unfair' scores

Dancing on Ice fans have begged show bosses to bring back outspoken former judge Jason Gardiner.

The 46-year-old shocked loyal fans in 2019 when he announced that he was leaving the show after 13 years.

And things haven't been quite the same since his departure.

Viewers of the ITV show pleaded for the Aussie star, famously known for his brutal feedback and witty jibes, to return to the show after the current panel of judges, which is made up of Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, John Barrowman and Ashley Banjo, gave a number of contestants on Sunday night identical scores.

One fan said: "What the heck is Ashley and John watching? Rubbish judges .... bring back Jason Gardiner. Graham Bell was AMAZING #DancingOnIce."

Another added: "We need Jason Gardiner back for some fair scores x x #DancingOnIce."

A third viewer said: "Bring back Jason Gardiner #DancingOnIce."

"Please, bring back #JasonGardiner the judges are dreadful how can you score the same scores," said a fourth.

While another wrote: "I'm voting to get Jason Gardiner back."

Jason swapped his life of glitz and glam to become an eco-farmer in Portugal.

A chance encounter with his neighbour led to the drastic lifestyle change.

It saw the TV personality ditch bustling London for rural Portugal, where he did a biodiversity and sustainability course.

Talking to his followers on Instagram, he explained that he now spends his days travelling to different homes to teach families how to become more eco-friendly.
