She was one of the first famous faces to have her name linked with the new series of Dancing on Ice but it is reported that Love Island winner Amber Gill has now been dumped from the lineup.
And it gets worse for the Geordie girl as the word is that she has been axed in favour of one of her fellow Love Island contestants.
Just over a month has passed now since Gateshead beauty therapist won Love Island alongside Irish rugby player Greg O'Shea.
Almost as soon as she triumphed on the hit itv2 show, the 22 year old was hotly tipped to appear on Dancing on Ice next year, following in the footsteps of fellow Islanders Kem Cetinay and Wes Nelson who've both fared well on the show.
A source said her Love Island popularity and 'gutsy personality' drew producers to sign her up but now it's been reported that Amber has been shunned in favour of Maura Higgins, one of the most talked about contestants from this year.
A source told The Sun that Maura has snatched the spot from Amber due to her "sense of humour and personality".
They said "“It was looking hopeful for Amber but Maura pipped her to the post with her sense of humour and personality.”
"During Maura’s time in the villa, her ballroom dancing beau Curtis Pritchard showed her some choreography skills."
The news comes just as for the new series, in place of Jason Gardiner.
Jason famously clashed with Gemma Collins on this year's show with a live on air spat as the TOWIE and Celebrity Big Brother diva accused him of "selling stories" on her.
